La Jolla Pet Resort

Whether your pet is a dog, cat, or has special needs, the staff at La Jolla Pet Resort has the knowledge, ability, and resources to provide your pet with everything it needs for a comfortable and safe boarding experience.

At La Jolla Pet Resort, your pet’s health and safety are important to us. All boarders receive a complimentary technician exam upon entry. If any abnormalities are found, we will contact you to see if treatment is needed. All boarders must be parasite-free upon arrival. An oral treatment called Capstar will be administered to each border at a low cost to the owner to prevent the spread of fleas.

Charges are incurred daily like a hotel. If your pet will be going home before 11 am, there will be no charge for that day. We also request that guests arrive between 10 am and 4 pm to ensure speedy check-ins for our clients.

You may bring food, toys, and extra blankets if desired, but La Jolla Pet Resort can provide all of this from our own supply to keep your pet comfortable.

Certification of vaccination is required for each of our guests before admittance can be allowed. Titers will be accepted with proper documentation. If your pet requires an updated vaccine, or if you need help with your pet’s records, you can contact us at La Jolla Veterinary Hospital, and a staff member will be more than happy to help you.
